SPY

SPY is a wall mounted luminokinetic object.

78 Peepholes are illuminated individually due to the action which takes place behind the Peephole. The actions are is watched as a data stream by a computer intelligence (computational intelligence), which develops a sense of self-feeling for the patterns and colors, combinations and speeds and keeps on changing them, only to finally discard them. Thus, the computer intelligence looks not only from the inside out through the peephole, but also by pattern recognition (Big Data) from the outside to the inside. Who is watching whom here?

The object is designed for contemplative contemplation, and allows the expansion of perception and sphere of thought while at the same time calming down everyday influences.

The light changes and patterns are composed, varied and further modified by computer intelligence, so that the overall composition has a artwork-typical look, but the internal changes are unpredictable.
