Vinyl on demand releases Symboter LP

The Symboter LP on vinyl is here! Early works of the early 80's:http://www.vinyl-on-demand.com/-1-18-403.htm

The tapes from 1980-1982 contained songs I had recorded from 1978-1981, many of them live due to lack of multitrack recording equipment or because too complicated, then on 4-track tape devices and finally a few pieces in a 24 track studio, which I did a few nights allowed to use it.

The original master tapes have disappeared over time, there are only a few cassettes from that time. Vinyl on demand has, amazingly, a complete set of "blue" studio cassettes. At the time there was an "orange" series, which contained only live recorded songs, without multi-track technology.

Vinyl on demand has only slightly reworked the cassettes in order not to change the original cassette sound.

I am particularly pleased that my works from that time have now been given a place of honour in this exclusive label.

Film "Turbulence" can now be seen in exhibition in Osnabrück

The exhibition "Turbulence" with works by Wolfgang Petrick has been running in the Kunsthalle Dominikanerkirche Osnabrück since 22.09.2012.

The central, 6 meter high ship object is accompanied by a video installation.

The film, directed by Wolfgang Petrick, is a film directed by Frédérik Krauke.

The music for the film is from me and was made in August and September 2012.

It is mainly equipped with deep sea, underwater, submarine steel noises, with cracking and

Glass cracking and crushing enriched. In addition to complex overwater and underwater sound collages, there are

a main piece consisting of a tactful rhythm and a minimalist free jazz saxophone.

Another piece of music is my first glitch work from extremely condensed and destroyed

High-sea noise.

The length of the film is 45 minutes.

Instruments used:

Radical Technologies Spectralis II

Korg Karma

Audio mulch software

Propellerhead Reason

A record contract

After such a long time I signed a record contract again today. No, not for a solo CD, but for a remix of my piece "Crime" from the early 80s.

The French group "Spaceships Are Cool" has taken the title and processed it in a contemporary way. The result is a song worth listening to on a more listenable CD called " SERIOUSLY, ERIC? Vol. 3"

It will be released in September.

The old version of Crime can still be heard on last.fm

More will come as soon as I know something more precise.
