  • Running Has song character and length. The text is quite nice if you understand it. A thousand sound tracks on top of each other, back then with a 4-track tape recorder from Teac and Akai.Text:
Running through the day, running through the night,
running through the dark, running through the light,
we’re running, we’re runningRunning through the city, running through the town,
runnirig through the country, running all around,
we’re running, we’re runningOh, people are slow — in the city.
Oh, people are slow — in the city. Running past traffic signals, running past shops,
running past citizens on their jobs,
we’re running, we’re runningRunning in the sun, running in the rain,
running cause we never run in vain,
we’re running, we’re runningOh, people are slow — in the city.
Oh, people are slow — in the city. We run on the streets through the city,
it is not worth walking, as she has nothing for us
we are running, we are runningcars standing in line at the light signal,
we run and we are always happy
we are running, we are running

    Cars honk, people stop,

——Finally, do not let yourself go——
we are running, we are running

    Mannequins grin at us,
    stare statically at the tram
we are running, we are running

You say you want to go and you don’t run along,
what kind of stereotype are you?!

we are running, we are running

Rain softening would be a mockery,
for Pitsch—Patsch is a good tone
    we run, we run, etc

  • Up and Down V.
  • Wind impression
  • Classic
  • Walking Duck
Also has typical song elements and structure, probably created by the influence of “Popcorn” by Gershon Kingsley
  • Open Spheres
Strongly infested by my then girlfriend from the esotherics area. Recorded in 24 Track Studio
  • Silbersee
Somehow reminded me of Karl May and a great lake.
  • Power Core Stop.mp3
Reverse echo “Stop” recorded by band, so the song ends

PageB

  • Silent Storm
  • System
Inspired by the trash of the new German wave…
    Guitar by Dieter Deutschland
pneumatic HiHat (air pressure can) of Unterbös
to be understood more as a joke, atypical…
  • Crime
(Crime is no longer available for download. It was remixed by the French group Spaceships Are Cool in 2011 and was released in September 2011 on the CD compilation: “SERIOUSLY, ERIC? #3” of Alter-K (www.alter-k.com). Here on soundcloud
  • Tangerines nightmare
I found the sequence of the Moog so good… I thought I was finally as good as Franke from Tangerine Dream…. Ha ha
  • Electronic-City.mp3
Pretty crass ring modulator sequence with a digital sequencer (Roland CSQ-100) and the Roland Jupiter8. The song describes the desolation of the electronic city in total surveillance.Text:
Electronic City, people stream… to the central machine, machine
Electronic City, the sun is shining… by automatic timing, timing
Monotony, monotony, monotony, monotonyElectronic City, everything’s controlled… no discussion, no revolt
Electronic City, everything’s controlled… no discussion, no revolt
aaaaahhhhElectronic City, people stream… to the central machine, machine
Electronic City, everything’s controlled… no discussion, no revolt
Monotony, Monotony, Monotony in Electronic Citymonotone…
  • Blue Planet Blue.mp3
One of my earliest pieces, played on the self-build modular system, a Korg MS-20 with SEQ-10 sequencer, Roland Jupiter4. It is part of the Android cycle that describes the approach and landing of an alien on Earth. The cycle begins with “electron voice” (released on cassette “Matrix”), then comes “Blue Planet, Blue”, then “Android”. Had I sent to Klaus Schulze in April 1990 but so far no reaction 🙁
    Text:
    Blue Planet, Blue
my radar system has found you now
it was not a problemBlue planet, blue
your dates are known: 3/4 Water, 1/4 Land

    Blue Planet, Blue
    it all worked,
the company Omega 4 runs like lubricated
I hover towards you, pass the moon,
was on the road for a long time but it was worth it
A few more hours, then into orbit,
past Spacelab I come to the Earth and am landing, landing

    Blue planet, blue
    You can’t see me
my Ufo is protected by the latest systemBlue Planet, Blue
the system is intact, there will be no encounter of the third type

    Blue Planet, Blue
    You are very beautiful
the most colorful sphere in the solar system

I hover towards you, far behind is the moon,
was on the road for a long time but it was worth it
In a few minutes I brake,
through the atmosphere I arrive and am landing, landing

    Blue Planet, Blue
    gravity draws me to you
    and I’m already slowing down

    Blue Planet, Blue
a continent, my computer reports that it recognizes it

    Blue Planet, Blue
there is the lake, (Note: a wink at “the man who fell from heaven”)
    where I go down purposefully

I hover towards you, I am already close,
was on the road for a long time but that’s the reward
In a few minutes I land,
across space I arrive and am landing, landing

    Blue Planet, Blue
dense under me fliehn deer, hares and other animals

    Blue Planet, Blue
I put on, I landed softly, didn’t misjudge me

    Blue Planet, Blue
    now I am,
I’m getting out now because there’s a lot to do
    Blue planet, blue….
